AJC: FACT CHECK: More US drilling didn’t drop gas price

The next time I see a “Drill Baby Drill” sticker.. I am going to point at them and laugh my ass off. Do you realize how dumb this makes Sarah Palin look now? And Newt Gingrich. Maybe Barack Obama. Ok.. well dumb-er.

A statistical analysis of 36 years of monthly,
inflation-adjusted gasoline prices and U.S. domestic oil production by The Associated Press shows no statistical correlation between how much oil comes out of U.S. wells and the price at the pump.

If more domestic oil drilling worked as politicians say, you’d now be paying about $2 a gallon for gasoline. Instead, you’re paying the highest prices ever for March.

CAN WE PLEASE INVEST IN BETTER PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION NOW?

It has been always fantastic to hear news about our village in such a way,especially, in development sector. I am very much proud of you that you have been serving for our village for such a long prior of time.When I saw your face it remind me of my school age and all those stupid things that i used to do at that time. I have no doubt you have a huge connection with the school and village both emotionally and physically. I know you love the place same as any other villagers.
