Tough loss for the Bolts yesterday. St. Louis, Pouliot and Stamkos all managed to find the net with assists from Stamkos, Conacher, Crombeen, Hall and St. Louis. All three goals came in the 3rd period, but the Isles Ullstrom sealed the game with 1:31 left in regulation. Lindback faced 44 shots over 3 periods. He is now 1-1 on this shortened season.

The Lightning face the Carolina Hurricanes this evening in Raleigh at 7:00 pm. Carolina is 0-1 on the season thus far. I suspect Lindback will be in net again this evening for the Bolts as they face former teammates Jussi Jokinen and Dan “I Love Twitter” Ellis.

Update: Garon will be in net for the Bolts this evening.

Ohlund (knee) and Taormina (upper body) remain on the injury report.
