Speaking of the Numbskull iRresponsible Asswipes, NASCAR, recently announced that they will be the title sponsors of the NASCAR Sprint Cup event at Texas Motor Speedway in April. Last year, unbeknownst to me, the NRA also sponsored an event at Atlanta Motor Speedway last year.
Its bad enough that NASCAR has the redneck image that it does… allowing the NRA to become a sponsor the race isnt going to help matters. Not to mention, this should be a public relations nightmare for NASCAR after events in Aurora, Arizona and at Sandy Hook Elementary. Forget the money. The last thing that NASCAR should want is to get tied up with politics. NASCAR should be more responsible than that.
